When you visit a five-star restaurant, you don’t expect the chef to take on every role in the kitchen. Of course, the chef could step into each position — but doing so would make it impossible to deliver the level of excellence that defines the restaurant.
It’s the same with Photolux. I deeply value our team, because their work allows me to do mine: to stay fully present behind the camera, to create with intention, and to offer couples the artistic experience they come to Venice for.

My work is for people who care more about how they look at each other in a photograph than about how others will look at their photographs.
And what about Venice — where does the shoot take place?
The photoshoots usually take place early in the morning, in the heart of Venice, when the city is still quiet and all the iconic locations are within walking distance — an ideal setting for romantic morning photoshoots for couples in Venice.
Eva says:
Venice is, without doubt, a magical and unique city — yet it is never the main character. For me, Venice is the backdrop, the atmosphere, the mood.
I know this city and its light well throughout the year, so we simply follow the flow — and chase the reflections of the morning sun.
How long does a photoshoot last, and how many photos will clients receive?
A photoshoot with Eva is a creative, artist-led experience — not a timed service.
Typically, a session lasts from one to three hours, depending on the light, pace, and flow. Eva avoids rigid time limits that create pressure; instead, she adapts to her clients, allowing them to relax and open up naturally.
During the high season, sessions take place exclusively in the early morning, when Venice reveals its most peaceful light and atmosphere.
As a result, clients receive around 30 carefully edited photographs, personally selected and refined by Eva.
Delivery time is up to 30 days after the shoot.
The fee for an intimate couple photostory in Venice starts at €1100.
Eva says:
If you’re looking for something fast and plentiful, there are other places that serve that kind of experience — think of it as fast food for photography. Nothing wrong with it, it’s just not what I love.
My ideal, perhaps an impossible one, would be a photoshoot without photographs — only the experience itself, where you look into each other’s eyes so often that it lives forever in your memory.
Okay, in reality — you’ll have both: the experience and the photographs 🙂
Why doesn’t PhotoLux Agency photograph family or wedding events?
While the agency occasionally accepts commissions for family or wedding sessions, such projects are rare and always considered individually.
Most often, these exceptions are made for our returning clients — couples whose families have grown over the years and who come back to us with bespoke requests for photoshoots in Venice, Paris, or other cities across Europe.
Our core focus remains intimate, art-directed couple photostories, yet we value the long-term relationships that naturally evolve into unique creative collaborations.
